The inaugural GE Week Open Data Challenge will focus on leveraging open data to improving access, whether that be improving the availability of resources, services, or opportunities for individuals or communities, especially in the developing world. With the help of industry and NGO mentors, students will leverage open data to create a business strategy and a technical solution while gaining a global awareness of economic, political, environmental, and health considerations.
